C4C News and Announcements

We'll use this place to update the Clan on all important News and Announcements. This is for both the PS3 and 360 Divisions of course.
It will be used for that purpose and nothing else, we have plenty of places for discussion already.

I can't see any reason why anybody apart from Leaders and Officers would need post in here, but in the interest of fairness it's open for anyone.

Announcement; We've gotten rid of the 360 News and Schedule thread, all news will go here and the scheduling can happen in the Divisional threads as it already does, so it was pretty irrelevant. Don't worry though, I've merged the majority of that thread into the 360 bit.

News; I typed in C4C clan into Google for a laugh and guess what came up on the first two results?

Oh yeah, web domination! Well no, not really. But still!

I'd like to ask that people hurry up and tell me or Cyn or post it in the topic what timezone they are in. We don't even have half the members timezones up on the table. Now we're getting bigger it could help us set up different teams depending on who's on when and time differences.

I'm noticing more and more people inviting their friends to PS3 C4C clan party's, this is a bit ridiculous and somewhat undermines all the effort we put into it, I'm not sure if the 360 has the same problem, but regardless, please don't do it.

Attention 360 players/ members!

Tonight at 9pm GMT I will putting together a team to play and practice Headquarters.

I have some names already but if you want to be invited can you please add your GT below so I can ensure I only invite those who want to play!

I will run these sessions on a weekly basis so if there is a prefered time/day let me know and I'll see if I can do it.

I want to get C4C as a name recognised and feared! Also I get fed up playing random people who want to camp on HQ!

If you have any suggestions on style of play then also let me know, the more input I get the better we can make the team.

I think that if we get a team of 6 then we need:

1x mobile sniper
1x LMG (clear buildings, lay down suppressing fire etc!)
4 x run n gun players to capture and defend the Headquarters

Obviously use which ever classes/perks you are happy with but I think that we need a mixture of Claymores and Grenades as Perk 1.

If we get enough people we can just play against each other and that way we'll have plenty of feedback!

I will be online untill about 1am so if you can't make it at 9pm let me know and I'll invite you as soon as I see you appear online!

On Friday, June 27, all recruits who have not played with us and/or have not posted quality comments will be eliminated from the clan. This is our first cleansing, so be aware. For those of you who just joined, don't worry. But beware 1 time posters!

C4C now has a ventrilo set up! It's a 50-slot server so feel free to make use of it for whatever you may happen to need it for. This goes for all divisions.

The C4C forum now has three sub-boards, one for each Division. The main board will still be used for clan-wide discussions and relevant threads, such as Recruitment.

Attention Clanners.

Now we have an official C4C advertising topic in the Clan Recruitment Forum, I ask you to stop bombarding new members with "Join C4C" in every "I need a clan" thread you find. Many don't appreciate it and I can understand why, it's irritating.

The info is there if people want it.
