My headset came through this morning, I tried it out and it seems alright, but I'm having a bit of trouble with hearing anyone properly and my voice is coming through delayed. Is there any way to avoid this? I've not had a headset for a console before....

Oh and I'll add the new people to the list when I get a minute but I gotta fly now. I think I'll also be adding some new regulations to the top, we've had some issues here and especially in the 360 section with people just joining the forum for the clan then ****ing off... So yeah, try not to do that or you shall be removed.

Isn't yours the same as mine? I've not had those problems with mine. Anything to do with your connection, perhaps? If some one's microphone is really sensitive and I speak, I can normally hear myself echoed straight away with little delay.

I do have the same as yours I believe. Yeah it probably is my connection, plus my PS3 only gets 80% or so signal strength even though we have a good router and 2 extenders!

Though I was playing with The Shinobi and Mav a while ago and they seemed to hear me okay.

i enjoyed the gaming Cynic, dnt usually play normal teamdeath match (takes to many bullets to kill people.....  :walk:  :32: ) but it was cool, hate down pour though hence why I died.

Still got killed a lot though. I tried telling them to wait a sec so I could test something out, but they were having none of it......

My headset looks pretty much like yours, but its wrote ps2 on it, im getting a bluetooth headset like my friend as, he told me it was great il test it out before.
Finaly won't feal like talking to a wall when playing  .

I could hear you fine earlier, Cyn. Although if you were speaking in that Downpour match I couldn't hear you. Although I find that happens, I can talk to someone find in a party but then the match starts I can't hear them at all until it ends. Talk about dodgy servers.

Someone better have been able to hear me on Downpour because I talked all the way through it. I'd better not have been talking to nothing.

Heh, good good. Is there a way to turn up the volume on the ear piece? Sometimes it's really hard to make out what people say.
I heard you a little bit every now and then on the downpour match, I heard you say "can anyone even hear me" and I was like "I CAN HEAR YOU......kinda... no wait, no I can't"

Ah that always happens. I end up mute for the whole game for no reason I can understand.

Yes there is a way to turn up the earpiece volume. It's in the headset/audio input settings somewhere. Or I think you can up the volume on the 'Voice' setting under options on CoD multiplayer.

Hmm. I did look at the Device settings but I couldn't find anything to make things what I hear louder, just my voice. But maybe the multi-player options holds the key.

I might go play some more in a bit, anyone on there give a shout  :thumbsup:

Hey C4C guys, i just got my 50 cal and i want to go do some matches with you guys hit me upp.

Hey, we should have different divisions, depending on purpose. (Stealth, Sniper, Assault, etc.)

We could work with others who are in the same group to improve tactics.

EX: All the snipers would school each other on their favorite spots, sniping techniques, and maybe even practice no-scoping.

We could also add a ranking system. 

EX:

Squad Leader: One or two individuals per class.  Responsible for teaching all new players of that class.  Isn't necessarily the best.  They're just there to organize.

Note: If you were invited by a Squad Leader, it could be for a private match, so if you don't plan on practicing with the clan, decline the invites.

1st Class: Extreme Pwner in their class

2nd Class: Proficient.  Not too good, not too bad.

3rd Class: Bottom class.  It just means you just joined the clan.  You'll be promoted after a few matches, unless you're absolutely horrible, which I highly doubt anyone is.

Squads would include:
Marksman (Sniper)
Stealth (silenced weapons)
Demolitions (explosives)
Heavy Gunner (LMG)
CQC ("in yo face" combat)
etc.

A person may have a rank in each class if they want.

EX: Marksman 2nd Class, Stealth 1st Class

So if you have 1st class in almost all the categories, you can brag that you truly pwn on the battlefield.

The "leaders" could "promote" individuals based on predetermined criteria.

That way everyone learns from another player with the same playstyle and they also have a good motivation to improve.


EDIT: Oh yeah, I call one of the Sniper Squad Leader positions. XD

Not a bad idea, Mav. I'd be either sniper of stealth, maybe a bit of a change now and then. I'm pretty deft at headshots without stopping power with any sniper now. Someone running full sprint in my good line of sight still normally doesn't get passed me.

Stealth I'm OK with. I've never really used it lots like Cyn, but I was pretty good with it last night on a Team Tactical Domination match with Cyn and Vince on Downpour. Planted claymores on flag I captured, lay prone in grass, watch some idiot run straight up and into my claymores all the while he had no clue I was watching.
