S&D

Ah, yes, S&D the game to test your true stealth and survival skills.

For any of you who dont know what S&D is. Its a game variant in which a bomb is placed in front of one team while nothing is placed in front of the other. There are two bomb planting locations (ill always call them that) labeled  A and B. The team with the bomb is to plant the bomb at one of those two locations. While the other does anything in its path to keep that from happening.

   I.   Attack
   II.   Defend
III.   Planting and defending with team
   IV.   Planting and defending alone

I. Attack

Attacking is horrible. For the main reason that you must do something in order to get your point. This is the team with the bomb. The ideal thing is to come here with a clan and get this

For team tac: 1 sniper, 1 ghost, 1 assault

For regular:  2 snipers, 1 ghost, 2 assault, 1 CQC

Sniper's job is pretty simple. He goes into a hidden elevated spot and uses a scoped rifle to kill people. This may seem like an easy job and if your lucky. It is, but it is not that easy once you get other snipers finding you and getting naded.

Your main enemies are going to be other snipers and noobtubers.

Primary weapon: M40
side arm: USP.45
special grenade: smoke

perk 1: Bandolier or claymores (depending on map)
perk 2: stopping power
perk 3: iron lungs or extreme conditioning

Ghost has a pretty easy job as long as he stays out of sight. The main thing the ghost does is sneak around looking for claymores and c4s and blowing them up while also getting his fair share of kills. If your caught consider yourself toast. The perks that ghosts use aren't really 1v1 style so its best to be a silent assassin. Back shots are probably needed to get far into being a ghost. As you advanced further with the same team though. The ghost job will suddenly get harder as people will be expecting somebody behind them at all times.

Your main enemies will be anything that has stopping power and RDS

Primary weapon: MP5 silenced or AK silenced
side arm: USP.45 silenced
special grenade: any

perk 1: Bomb squad
perk 2:UAV jammer
perk 3: dead silence or steady aim

Assault. Hearing this makes you think of marines. Big and buff with no since of stealth at all. These will be the people that rush into a building and shoot anybody they see. These will run through most likely an elevated spot for the sake of not having to move up. These people spot campers, snipers, or anything in a building. Once they have eliminated everyone in the building they move on to the next one.
You might get the most kills but also the most deaths considering the fact that this is a careless job. Its best to use a full automatic such as the AK

Your main enemies will be anybody that walks through the door out of your field of vision

Primary weapon: Ak-47 RDS
side arm: deagle or USP.45
special nade: smoke

perk 1: frag x3
perk 2: stopping power or juggernaut
perk 3: last stand or martyrdom

CQC (close quarters combat). These people rush in with shotguns without thinking (sorta like the assault but the CQC run everywhere)  Being in buildings is a good idea because of snipers and you may want to work with the assault as a defending buddy. You may also wanna carry around RPGS or c4 just in case the get out of range.

Also CQC dont really always have to be in buildings. Some like to help out snipers and kill anybody that comes near the sniper. If possible you may want 2 CQC people for protection.

Your main enemies will be snipers.

Primary weapon:  W1200
side arm: USP.45
special nade: stun

perk 1: rpg or c4
perk 2: double tap
perk 3: extreme conditioning

Now that we are done with good classes to use lets get on to the objective. You should take the bomb to one of the bomb planting locations. Most of the time snipers will be guarding the furthest one to you while campers decide to stay back.
NEVER FOR ANY REASON AT ALL (unless you read the next part) MOVE UP AT THE FIRST 30 SECONDS. why? Well it rains grenades so much you can barely dodge it.

I'd like you to go up to the middle of a map and see what i'm saying.

The only people that have any right to move are the snipers so they can get in a sniping location without being seen. You may move however if your spawn is far away from them. (such as strike or pipeline).

The person that grabs the bomb should be both

A. hard to find and
B. hard to kill.

If somebody in your group has both of these two things then it might be a good idea to use him. Once the person grabs the bomb, there is no going back. He cant drop the bomb. I really hope that they have an addition to that in WAW for the main reason that i pick up bombs when i dont want to.

Pop quiz. who is the worst person to give a bomb to?

Is it

A. a ghost
B. a sniper
C. a camper
or D. rushers.

Well lets see. Most of those answers are partially correct but i wanted the worst and if you picked b your right!

Snipers have no right to pick up a bomb for two reasons.

A. once everybody is out there and the sniper gets sniped everyone will have to run back up there and

B. Even if the sniper doesn't get sniped. He doesn't go plant the bomb since he's at the spawn (most likely)

Campers are also a bad idea for the same reason. But most campers camp in areas that are further than sniping spots.

Rushers will run out into the open probably getting shot down and the bomb being defended by everyone there.

So anyway where was i? oh yes! The dropping bomb addition!

Well as stated before you have to plant it. Well rushing is not going to get you anywhere except death. You must always know where everybody is, so check locations such as camper spots and sniper spots to insure safety. It's a good idea to have someone with you while you plant the bomb. Not beside you, just near you. So in case some guy shoots you the defender can get him.

After you plant the bomb (which takes a total of i think 6 seconds) its all downhill for the defenders.

Now its sorta reversed in jobs. Defenders now must defuse the bomb or else they wont get a point. Attackers, you now get the easy job.  Yes defending the bomb and for a reasonable time to Cheesy! 40 seconds.

Now you must wait. Dont poke your head out of your hiding spot until you hear noise that sounds like key chains being picked up. Once you hear that noise you have 6 seconds to do what you must do. KILL.

II. Defend

Defending isn't as bad as attacking because this is an easy job to do. Camping never seemed so rewarding Cheesy. You should have these classes for defending

Team tac: 2 ghost campers, 1 sniper

regular: 2 ghost campers, 2 snipers, 2 CQC

Ok lets get started. What many people dont grasp the concept of is defending is no more than camping. I mean think about it.  You must sit back in order to really be defending at all and campers once thought about defend there whole team with shooting people that try to sneak around. So yes, defending is no more than a camping job assigned for many. Now this is a simple concept and people dont think its a good idea to stay back and what happens? They run up, get owned, and complain about it...

Complain? its your fault moron!

Its good to have snipers looking at the far bomb defending area while ghost campers look at the closer one. It may be a good idea to have a noobtube on a sniper for the reason that many people hide behind the bomb defend area.

Never expose yourself into the open. Always stay low and get in cover.

If you hear bomb planting noises. Then do the same thing that attackers do. KILL! never sit back and wait for them to plant it for XP especially if there are more survivors.

Claymores and c4s are great to use when defending.

Once it's planted its all downhill for you (sound familiar?) Because now you must do the hard job. You must find and eliminate every last person before you go to the bomb because otherwise your in danger!

Look around the near area and then defuse the bomb if there are no people in sight. Only use smokes if honestly necessary. For one they make noise and also they dont stay up for long (oh please bring back cod2 smoke)

And once you defuse it there is no point for attackers. No matter how hard they try.

III. Planting and defending with team

Once you plant a bomb its best to tell locations of any seen snipers or campers, any open sniper spot, and where you are. Also state what type of gun the person is carrying (assault rifle, sub machine gun etc.)

Always state when a person is defusing the bomb because somebody can be in the right position to kill the bomb defuser. Never talk any clan talk when you hear footsteps. Because most likely people have eavesdrop on if they are playing against a clan.

Once the bomb blows up you win. But some others aren't as fortunate to have a team.

IV. Plating and defending alone

If you plant a bomb and you are the only one left. Its all about decision, accuracy, and stealth.

Always stay low and in any cover given (even grass is good as long as you have something!) Never as stated before peek out until the keychain noise is made.

Decision is thinking of when to get the kill, what gun to pull out, wether you should shoot them down or throw a nade. Its a very good idea if you have a nade to throw it a large group and while the nade is in the air shoot everyone you see (first the bomb defuser)

If you survived this epidemic with all your limbs intact. CONGRATULATIONS! You most likely won!

Well, sorta that but not fully. Lets take two days ago for example shall we? i was playing harcore S&D on pipeline and i was on the hill side. I stayed back there behind a tree also remember im sniping. After a while there was me and one other dude. i was looking at the over populated building with 2 ladders and i see a dude in a ghillie suit. and i shoot him. It was a teamate. First, i didnt see his name. So that sorta sucked and second,  i couldn't even tell if he was on my team or not considering that he was in a ghillie suit.

I have no problem with seeing them in hills it's just that it sorta sucks that i cant tell who im shooting at.

Oh yeah fair point. Names dont come up if your looking into a hole (like that tree) or into a fence. Theres also a windows that do the same thing!  Huh? Just try and avoid looking into things like that and use the pause menu map if your unsure.
