crossfire map

I have heard that you can climb up on the water tower on the crossfire map I just haven't tried it or found a way yet, any suggestions?

You can't get up that one, for sure. Well maybe on the PC mods, I don't know. But not normally.

The watertower is located on the east end of the map if the bus is north. The tower sits upon the blown out building that everyone likes to snipe from.

Yes, you can get there if you're still wondering how.

Set it to oldschool mode. You first go to the far East side building if the bus is north. This building overlooks the pretty much vacant street to the right of the blown out building a lot of people snipe from. You walk in and go up stairs. Then, you jump onto the chair, onto the broken wall, then onto the third floor. Then, you walk on rubble on the 3rd floor and jump to the roof. Then, you face the street and walk to the left. You should be able to walk on an invisible ground up high. Then, you go straight a little, turn left, and walk across the barbed wire fence until you get to the roof of another building. Then, you jump on the building west of its roof (if the bus is north). Now, all you have to do is head west until you get to the water tower!!  :toothy10:

I tried this and can't jump up on the laundry machine at all, or from the chair onto anything.  So - what is oldschool mode?

can jump on both dryer and chair to the wall but thats about it?? :tard:

It takes a while to get. Instead of jumping on the washing machine, jump on the chair next to the wall (like warcrime said) on the right side if you are looking at the street. That is easier.

And it must be on oldschool mode, otherwise it won't work

If you really don't know what oldschool mode is, it is when you start off with skorpions and must pick up guns throughout the map and also you can pick up perks. You have more health, you jump twice as high, and when you get shot, you sometimes go flying

Oh right... you guys have servers. On 360 and PS3, we click the gametype and it randomly puts us in a game. Do you guys have private matches? That's the best for finding hiding spots.

I haven't seen anything for private matches on the PC servers - but that would be so cool!

We have passworded servers, is that the kind of thing you're talking about?

I don't believe they show up on the server list, you have to connect to them via the console instead. Could be mistaken about that though.

Private matches are games where you invite your friends and choose the gametype, time limit, etc., and it doesn't count toward any stats. Passworded servers would be similar, but they can't count for stats if its like a private match.

So then if you want to do that just find an oldschool server on Crossfire.
