m4 carbin

hi all i read somewhere in the forums about the m4 carbin with an acog i tryed i t my self and it was allsome give it a try. Grin

was prob my post, im a huge fan of the ACOG and feel that it can be used VERY effectivly on most any gun (except shotguns and certain SMGs)

Here are all 5 of my class set ups, tell me if you recognize a pattern

1 - M4 ACOG
M4 w/ Acog
USP w/ Silencer
Bandolier
Double Tap
Steady Aim
Frag/Stun

2 - M14 ACOG
M14 w/ ACOG
Bandolier
Stopping Power
Steady Aim
Frag/Smoke

3- N00B Killer (I use this class when I get pissed off and want to just devistate people)
G36C w/ Noobtube
AK47 w/ Noobtube
No perk 1 cuz of Tube
Overkill
Martyrdon
Frag/Stun

4- G3 RDS
G3 w/ RDS (because i just started using it and havnt unlocked my ACOG yet)
USP Silenced
Bandolier
Stopping power
Deep Impact

5- M40A3

M40A3 Regular Scope (havnt used it enough to get an ACOG, i like assault rifle sniping more than actual sniping)
Desert Eagle (for CQC as a sniper I need that extra power)
Claymore
UAV Jammer
Dead Silence

So yeah, Im a fan of the ACOG

I should also point out that I play Hardcore almost 100% exclusivly, which is why i chose double tap for my assault rifles that are full-auto (M4, AK47, G36c, MP44) because with the G3 , M16 (debatable if double tap is worth it, i dont think so) and M14, they fire as fast as you can click, so double tap really isnt needed to increase your ROF.

I've started using the ACOG with the M16 and it changes the weapon entirely. I always shoot from the hip in CQC but for distance the ACOG makes it a mini-sniper and with the three shot burst it can be like a one shot kill. I had tried the ACOG in the past and not liked it but now I have to go back and try it on the M4. The M4 is a Hell of a weapon despite the stats and is so far the only one with which I have cleared all the Marksman and Headshot challenges. I used RDS on it at the time.

Yeah, i agree an ACOGed M4 is great and also can i just say one thing i find weird i think its correct an ACOG on an assault rifle has a greater range than an ACOG on a sniper rifle.

I used the ACOG with this weapon and use Steady Aim which solves most CQC issues associated with the ACOG. The M4 either silenced or ACOG is what I switch to right before sudden death in Sabotage. Agree with previous posts about BEST gun. But not just preference, also map/game type/situation/number of players.
