We all know how damned hard setting up a game of CoD4 on PSN can be, especially if you're like me and haven't got a headset yet.
So use this thread for that very purpose, adding new friends and general chit chat about recent games together

Yeah, I was having that problem with Mav as well. Pretty annoying.

Definitely, those were some good'ns. I intended to have Mav and the two of us in TT yesterday but silly PSN spoiled that one.

Ugh, just had the most abysmal run of games last night and this afternoon..... You know all those little annoying things that happen frequently? Like atrocious connection problems so you can't stay in a game very long, ghost bullets, rubber knives, mega glitching, 'jumping' or 'twitching' or whatever you call it, invisible enemies and above all else, spawn deaths. Basically, the works. Not to mention making it nigh impossible to party up.

--- { And I don't just mean me spawning in front of 4 hostiles, I'm damn used to that. There's also them spawning behind me just as I've cleaned out a room and turned around. Sometimes I feel the game is out to get stealth players.}

But anyway, they seem to have all happened at once to my poor account....
My K/D actually went down! That just doesn't happen..... That of course was the reason why I persevered and kept playing, (I'd normally stop the second I stop having fun) which wasn't a great idea. So no, I'm not very happy with either IW severs or my ISP.

Frequently, the first game of the day chucks us all out by 'loosing connection'. Then the games after that are full of random movement, where I'd not touch the controlled and be teleported 5 feet in front of me. Then I'd be left shooting at air as the person I was shooting at disappeared and reappeared behind me.

Earlier today, I was taking the other team out from behind them, on Downpour I'd managed to get around the side. I kill about half their team, and lo-behold! They've spawn behind me as if I'd done nothing but toss them over my shoulder.

Luckily I've never lagged very much on PC...or at all, really. Just occasionally I'll jump a bit if I've been doing a lot on the computer and it's been running for hours on end.

I know what you're talking about though due to other games where that kind of thing's happened for whatever reason. Worse than that though is when the fates themselves are against you. You know the type...those games where everything that COULD go wrong, does. You cover a door for a minute and a half, and the second you look away the noobiest guy on the server trots up and knifes you. Then you respawn under an airstrike, respawn again and get killed by a helicopter, decide to change class, mis-click and spawn with the wrong class (say..sniper?) miss 3 shots in a row you'd usually have made easily and end up getting out-sniped by a skorpion.

It's hard to explain, but you'll know those moments when you've got an uncharacteristically bad score and wonder if everyone else has somehow gotten 100x better overnight, while you fail spectacularly at even the most trivial of things that you'd normally achieve without a second thought.

Once again many of my CoD matches are summed up. The door thing completely annoys me though. Over half the times I've checked a door, then turned and not a second after I turn away someone bolts out the door and puts virtual metal in my back.

Sympathise with what you guys have said.  Had a bit of a poor run the last few days myself too.  Everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong - got killed 14 times in Sabotage and only managed to kill back twice.  Sheer frustration.

Yeah man, or i hate those little punks who hide on your side and kill you right when you spawn, it's not fun to sit and wait for people to kill.

The worst are the respawn spots. I get killed by a shotty, respawn down the hall and get killed by the same shotty, and then respawn outside and am killed by his airstrike. That was very annoying.

any one been haveing problems with knives? people have been knifing me when they are like three feet away from me. it's crazy

Ive had that problem they just run right by me somtimes there facing the other way, and they knife me
