I don't see why not. I mean, it IS and advanced-intermediate tournament, and the M16 IS an advanced-intermediate weapon.

I'd put a restriction to only be able to use ACOG/Iron Sights if using Stopping Power. Otherwise, leave as is.

If you do make it barebones, no attachments, it takes decent skill to scope out the map and get a 1 shot kill with the m16 with iron sights.

I don't have a reason why you shouldn't, it's just a gun like any of the others, if you don't like it or think it's over powered then either use it or just stop complaining and find another gun that you like.

I thinks you should let the gun be in the tornnie because alough it hits hard and good if at's going to be an advanced tornnie then let people use good and exitting weapons

I would defer to the experts who created the game, and decided what was permissible, and what is not.  I say keep all weapons, attachments and perks in.  Of course, rabs and I were the first to put that idea into our sigs... so I'm a little biased.

The game was balanced around team vs. team, hence why the game mode menu defaults to team deathmatch.

Still, I'm not sure what to make of this. In a 1 vs 1 setting, I'd be more afraid of the bullets than the noob tube; both are a 1-hit kill, but the bullets are far more accurate. 'd leave it in, as it's fairly well balanced against the M4, and that's not being taken out.

Remeber, the m16 is 3 hit kill, but the MP5 is 2, so if anything the Mp5 is cheaper. So I agree, leave it in, its balanced.

Absolutely. Everyone in the tournament has the opportunity to use the gun, so it should be allowed.

there are many ways u could avoid being shot from an M16A4. for example u could move and jump left and right and jump crouch. or if u want have 3x stuns and stun them so they cant turn around.

Ok well there is yet another conundrum (spell check that) in my tournament's planning. I know that they are perks in the game, but some perks such as juggernaut and martyrdom just are ways for people to get cheap kills and have no skills involved. I don't think they should be in my tournament.

OK.
Stopping Power=You do more damage
Juggernaut=You have more health

Why do you have a problem with it? You get cheaper and faster kills with the increased Stopping Power damage than with the normal damage and higher health from Juggernaut.
Learn to deal with it. It's not like Martyrdom.
