I used the R700 for awhile. It's great for one shot kills. And then I switched temporarily but I just couldn't use the M40A3 too well. Probably due to the decreased damage. I think R700 is better even if you have to make up in recoil.

I guess you could say I'm pretty good with both of them, but I have the Red Tiger camo on both and ultimately, my vote goes to the R700, just because I do the exact same with both, but i look cooler with the R700.

All the snipers have the same amount of scope sway, except for the R700, which has more for some reason.

I LOVE how the R700 looks with ACOG, but other than that, the M40 is better.
Bigger "clip", more accurate in my opinion.
