Honestly, I expect this is for halo wars. I mean why such a weird time to announce a new game, right after a Major Game Update? It makes no sense.

No, go to the X-box live buying thingy and go to new videos and download the video, in the description it will say the new Halo 3 campaign..... it's not halo wars, It's halo 3.5 Shocked

they need to make a total new race and some other cool vehicals and weapons and a better story line they get boring after a while its always the same thing , bring in a new race , i dunno that is really powerfull , so we have to team up with the bad guys , oh and the new race can elimate the elite race , thats a good story line instead of , OMG halo rings lets blow them up , just before we get their FLOOD arrive etc

No offense, but how does it look really good when all it is is a video of a city blowing up. It could be a game with teddy bears for all you know. As far as I am concerned, the way the halo games have been going, it better be a significant departure from the previous games because I don't find them to be very fun. Halo 1 kicked ass but it ended there.

It's an expansion. If I know Bungie as well as I think I do, they will mass advertise a game into its grave, and if your grandmother doesn't know about it, then well, in their eyes, they've failed. It is most likely an expansion for Halo 3, after all it did say Halo 3 in there, not to mention Halo 3 hasn't been out long enough for a number 4. And honestly guys, I think the Halo series is over. Most likely, if there is a continuation, they will remake the first Marathon game. After all, in the first Marathon game, the main character wakes up in a pod somewhat like Masterchief is currently resting in. Also, Halo Wars has been advertised too much to have this commercial suddenly. This would be a great first commercial for a game, but not a follow up to other in depth commercials. Though I must admit it strange, Halo Wars is due for early '09, and if those fanboys were right, maybe it is a Halo Wars ad...it's hard to say...Three numbers that could form a date with slashes and all is pretty odd.

Any way you look at it, looks exciting. I'll be interested to see what it is. Props to Bungie, they're good at what they do.

Haha, my friend HaloHero had this video up on halo3planet like 12 seconds after it was released to the public.

It really makes me curious on what weapon the soldier had...that and how awesome will running through that on legendary be.
