How is it compared to Call of Duty World at War? I know its not as good as CoD4, but how is it compared to WaW

from what i hear it is really good and sounds way better than WaW. it has a really good campain, and is a very good online multiplayer, from what i hear from some of my friends

It's absolute rubbish. The graphics are horrible, Gears 2 blows it out of the water. A seperate co-op campaign that lasts upward of 100+ hours? BAH too much like World of Warcraft that's for virgins. I want my co-op in the campaign like Gears 2 has, new things make me angry. And don't get me started with the lag-free 60 player online WARS, I like my multiplayer to have tactical pro lag for the host 5vs5 like Gears 2 has. Nothing's better than Gears 2. Nothing.

For me, it is way better. The Resistance story is epic and its better than Cod4's in my opinion, and WaWs. Its interactive, intense, gripping, and the character is totally bad-ass. Plus you see him, hear him talk, and get to almost "meet" him in way the Cod games don't let you do.

I haven't played that much of the online, but I'm guessing its not as good as Cod's. Its fun though from what I've played. Its a great game, I loved the first, and I love the second so far. R2 is a lot of fun, more fun for me than WaW.

if you own a PS3...then this is the game to buy for the holidays.
single player campaign is awesome, the graphics arent the best but it is forgiven due to the enormous scale of the maps and environment you play in. the 8-player coop is something i look forward too...i play split screen with my friends and online with other C4C members. i have yet to try the online yet...but im sure it wont be BAD...even though it kinda resembles halo >___<.

resistance fall of man to resistance 2 is a perfect example of what a sequel should be- fixing the major problems of the first one and improving on it so that it doesnt seem like the same old game.

imo gears 2 is not AS good as a sequel. the only thing that i've recognized is better AI, graphics and more execution moves and a new online game type. infact it feels more of a Gears 1.5 when i play it. but it is still an awesome game and it's a MUST BUY if you own a 360. (nothing beats chainsawing a guy in half)

Its like an über mixture of Cod4 and Gears2, what could go wrong? Only thing about online is people have a lot of health, and pounding 15 bullets into someone takes a while to get used to.

It's nothing like CoD4 or Gears... if we're comparing FPS's it is in the same category as Halo and Doom.

Some are, some aren't. It's set in the 50's remember, most of the futuristic weapons will be those of the Chimera.

The M5A2 carbine, L23 Far Eye, 238 Rossmore, HVAP Wraith, frag grenades, and LAARK aren't really futuristic. (With the exception of the Wraith's force barrier  Cheesy)

Its got the blood and intense story like gears, and awesome FPS gameplay like cod. Thats why I think its similar. I only think its like halo in that players have high health in online.  Undecided The chimera are pretty similar to enemies in gears I feel.
