I like the first but got stuck on the stupid buggy races and gave up. I am planning on getting the 2nd one. It looks fun and possibly even better.

well i played the demo, not as good as burnout paradise but i know there are more tracks and there's support for split-screen. i think if you're a fan of the racing genre then its a no brainer. not the best but it is worth a purchase if you liked the 1st one or the genre

I own burnout and motorstorm. I've been a huge burnout fan since B3 Takedown, and let me say, the franchise is going down hill. Paradise is fun, its getting a lot of cool updates and the open world is neat, but its not burnout. I actually don't feel like there is anything to accomplish, no greater goal to achieve, no direction to go in. There is no plot, just find events and get cars, I can't play it too long. I feel like I'm doing nothing. I play Motorstorm a lot more. More direct approach, and more fun.

Feeling the controls and overall funness i would say the original trumps over this like a pancake. The other one did everythign right except for multiplayer and the amount of tracks.

This however did the opposite.

Original Motorstorm: 8.5/10

Motorstorm 2: 6.9/10

I was going to buy it. But then I decided to to pre-order WaW instead. Good choice  Cheesy
If you play the real thing (not demo) let me know how it is.
Judging from the demo, it looks like a lot of fun. I might just rent it too.

I have played it and it is pretty good. Better than the first, if for no other reason that you can do split screen. The graphics are slightly improved, the gameplay could have been a little better but is still good, if you like the first you will like this.

But personally, with all the great games out this season, it's a pass for me.

Too true with that last statement. I don't know if it passes for me, but there are so many other great games out.

I'll probably end up renting it this week or so, I enjoyed the first a lot, and the 2nd only looks better. If I rent it soon I'll give a good in depth review. (Well as in depth as I can go  Cheesy)
