Why do people say that the ak-47 has massive recoil and is umbariable.

In my eyes it has little recoil and some people say that its terrible! I dont understand. Put an acog on it and you can see how much the gun actualy moves which is very little. I think the G36C is much worse.

I know not all people say this, especialy most of you lot, but i know alot of people who dislike the ak's "recoil"

I don't think its bad at all. I use it ACOG'd and love it. I can use it any map with steady aim.

AK-47 and M4 are the best assault rifles with ACOG, I haven't really ever gotten the feel for the G36c with ACOG.

there is a lot of recoil but its not bad because it doesn't go up , it goes up and down so the shots stay on target.

If you're talkign about sway then the g36c has barely any with ACOG. M4 of course has the least recoil because of it's pistol grip.

Theres a lot of recoil but it returns to center very quickly so it's not too bad. The GC36c features considerably lower recoil but the rate of fire makes it seem worse when fired in longer bursts.

I can only manage the AK silenced or with RDS, I'm unable to function properly with the AK's iron sights because of it's large muzzle flash afflicting my view so I lose targets occasionally.

The AK-47 is one of the strongest assault rifle once you learn to use it. It can dominate in CQC  thanks to it's fire rate and it got enough power to do long range kills with burst fire. Stick a silencer on and you've got one of the best ghost weapon. It's a weapon frequently used by clan in tournaments. The only bad thing about this gun is the visual recoil. Yeah you got it right, VISUAL recoil. Shoot at a wall and look at the holes you'll see how precise the gun really is.

Alright I'll stop my little rant here but know that the AK-47 doesn't "suck" just because you can't use it.

If the gun sucks then why would is still be in use today? To answer the question I think most people who dislike the recoil are the players who hold the trigger button down. In that case, it has bad recoil, but if you fire 3-4 shots and stop firing for half a second, then start firing again it is not bad. In fact, it recoils up so if you aim at the guys chest, the bullet that kills him might hit him in the head.

I must agree, the AK-47's recoil is very manageable.  You can kill from long range even with the iron sights.  The only advantage the G36c has with ACOG, is the fact that there's hardly any sway.

The AK-47 has a lot of recoil compared to other guns, but a slower fire rate and faster centering, so it it gets canceled out. Just go from using an M4 to an AK-47 and you'll see the recoil.

But any recoil is manageable, it just depends on if you know how to use the gun.
