Today I was playing I think it was ambush the one with the tanks in the middle of the rised road. Anyways it was domination & when we bagan I ran to the other side & then ran behide the enemy knife 1 then knifed 3 at B. Then I got six kills with my scorpion a couple airstrikes. Well I had like 16 kills will everyone was still in single kills. My question is I always do really good in the beggining but toward the end everyone catches up to me.
Any tips?

Maybe in the beginning they are a little off their game and don't expect much to happen right off the bat. Then once they get killed by you they realize all your tricks, and just step up their playing in general.

Are you playing the same way the whole game, or are you pretty unpredictable? Maybe people are catching onto your style as the game progresses. It also seems like you really know how the enemies behave at the start of the game, and take advantage of it. Maybe you should try to think how they will act differently later in the game.

Try Run n' Gunning for half a game and then change your strategy and start Sniping.

Yea mixing it up will probably help. Maybe they start camping because you are destroying them by running, then you snipe and kill them all.  Tongue

Well, I just had a huge streak of 20+ games and a 2:1 ratio (with one exception, when I was 18-17  Cry )

Anyways, in order to continue to do good in games after you have done good at the beginning, you must not get to aggressive. When you are doing good, then die, you feel upset, so naturally you try and get kills quickly. BUT, if you started off great, just sit back more and wait for an opportunity to arise.

On Bog, my last game today, I was using an ACOG'd Barrett. I began the game 7-0, but then faded to 10-6. Then, the opportunity came. The whole team was camped out in one area by the big fence, and I sniped 2 people, went in with a grenade and got 3 people, then died, and continued to snipe. I ended 18-7 I think.

Ahh very very true. . I do switch it up like 4 minutes in the game ill go loud with an M16 or M4 but I don't get as many kills as I would like. I guess that since I would die early a lot I Learned where everyone goes & I just hunt them & knife them =]

So what you're getting at is after you die you get stressed and upset, which causes you to not think clearly and suck? I think there's a lot of truth in that.

That always happens to me.

I start a game on 7-2 and then I end up of 9-5. Undecided

Yeah there is. What happens I think is that you are excited, you are thinking quickly, and after each kill you get more and more excited and good. But, you may think you are invincible, but you are really not and dying comes as a shock. You may say to yourself "Oh well. I'll get another streak." But in reality, you are feeling upset that you died. Then, when you die again, the feeling of sucking (even though you aren't really) just sets in. So you get frustrated, make stupid mistakes, get more aggressive, and then this perpetuates the cycle of dying/frustration.

So, if you get caught in this cycle, calm down and sit back (or quit the game if you are ready to burst).

if yoy feel yourself getting to aggresive as the game goes on (e.g. not looking around corners you usually do) please, do me a favour and sit back and relax. the best way of doing this is sniping... plant a couple of claymores and find yourself a spot and happily snipe away. wait until you get relaxed and back in the right midset, and you can strat playing your own game style again.
