I find that if your team works poorly together, you are destined to fail. Like I will start sniping at my spawn, and there are several other guys with assault rifles and smg's there too. So I start sniping, and the enemy starts flanking. My guys are back there jacking off, looking for their own headshots, being stupid, and then both of my clamores go off simultaniously and I get stabbed in the back. My team should have been covering that flank if they are all back there! If you die in a match, then it either means you took a big risk, or your team didnt help you, so the best thing to do is to play TDM with the clan or just people you know.

Yeah , Gold Crosses are usually people with alot of time on their hands
Although there are a many gold crosses that seriously own ...
Anyways , back to topic -
1. In TDM its 6v6 so there are 6 people get killed by , not just one person like in cage match
2. Carefully move into an area , I usually pre-aim my gun b4 moving into an area
3. Use one of those CQC weapons like the MP5 and P90 ... They rock if you know how to use them 
4. Adjust to a high sensitivity , it helps you turn around ... quicker =P , being able to check your back quickly

yea most 10 stegers are realllly bad, yesterday i played with one that went 11 and 35, 6 and 8, and again 12 and like 28 he was terrible added him and of course he had 36 days played with 400k score thats terrible! when you consentrate on 1 player its easy but with 6 on the opposing team u tend to get owned especially with those 2 or 3 players that always seem to kill u on the 6 kill mark, you know right when your about to get a chopper? it sucks but just learn the smarts of the game and it will all come natural.

Thanks for all the help guys... I'm improving, if not a little slowly. I got a few airstrikes and a helicopter today, but yesterday I couldn't even get a UAV.

If I can beat these guys, why am I always doing badly in TDM? I'm always being killed from behind, or double teamed,  or otherwise killed by someone I couldn't have seen. Can anyone help?

Because one on one is just that. Nobody is going to double team you. You have one guy to find and that's it. Gold Cross doesn't always mean they're great players anyway.

Yep... not all 10th prestigers are great.

The majoirty of 10th's I see seem to be using P90's (RDS), 3x frag, juggernauts/stopping power and martydm.

I love it when there named stuff like 'irprol33tsnip3r' with the aforementioned setup.

I got another heli today and only had one negative KD, 8-10. Otherwise I was 17-12, 20-16,and 14-8.

Your probably alot like me. 1 on 1, I do really great. I don't even do half-bad in Team Deathmatchs. But even so, I still get shot from behind, double teamed, and otherwise killed by people who otherwise wouldn't do good 1 vs 1.

I think its because in matches with multiple players, its much easier to rely on Luck to win, rather than skill, and thats what many players will do. But 1 on 1, you don't got much choice but to rely on your skill, and so the more skillful players can shine.

cage matches are a much different type of play than TDM. On TDM its fast paced action and 6 players all on you, and on a cage match its just 1 on 1, no one to give you away, just nice and slow paced action, so maybe your just good at being a sneaky boi =) lol

Lol rabbs, you're standards are so much higher than mine, I consider 10-10 decent, 18-17 good because 18's a pretty high amount of kills, and I usually only get one chopper  .

Oh btw, that was RAD yesterday when you were the last one on ambush and you killed everyone lol.

Time/score is no means of judging player skill. Those that play S&D or HQ will have much higher scores than those who play TDM. But it doesn't mean that either that those who play TDM more than  S&D are lesser players.

Sorry if some one already answered this or answered in the same way but,
In 1v1 your worrying about a single person and you begin to learn there tatics and there guns there using. But in team death, you dont keep track about the other players tactics oro the gun they use, and your not just worrying about on person your trying kill a hole team.
Also, some people think when some one is a Gold Cross there the "Best". But how do you know that, they could suck and just play alot as a noob. Speaking of that, one of my friends hes not Awsome but him and his brother share accounts and thats how he got gold cross.

So that might be why your doing bad.
