After long days and weeks of long testing of Assault Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns, and LMGs, I finally found the one perfect type of weapon that makes me feel just right when I kill something with it!
Yup, you guessed it. It's Sniper Rifles.
You see, I never had a feeling of happiness, or that special luster when I killed someone without a sniper.
But I can't compare the feel I get when I pull off a headshot with my M40A3 to anything else in the game.

Ya it makes you feel like "I killed you and you didn't even know I was watching you, and even if you did I'm too far away to do sh!t about it." The power and accuracy of all the snipers is astounding.

I just LOVE it when I one-shot a guy from across the map in Backlot!
Or when I sneak up behind a guy, and No-scope him in the head!

Yup yup. I use R700 the most it's more challenging and doesn't need Stopping Power, so I can UAV Jam that hoe lol

I agree. For pure feel of the kill I like the Barrett. The sound it makes helps aswell.

Yeah, its much more rewarding when you kill someone using a sniper. Especialy if they are running rather than staying still. Great fun

Besides, I only consider myself a true sniper if:

1. I am staying hidden.
2. No one can see me.
3. No one kills me since they don't notice me.
4. My weapon is powerful and deadly.

Sniper rifles offer a larger skill range than other weapons... so more emotional reward per kill is natural.

Love sniping. Played Ambush today normal team deathmatch finished 13-1, all shots were headshots two were from airstrike and I didn't call the chopper in time before the match ended, no grenade kills. I've got some special places I like to snipe from on that map and it feels SO good as even on the killcam, they can't seem to find me.

In every single first person shooter I have ever played, sniping has always been my favorite thing to do, and as a result im better at it then anything else.

congrats on finding something you love. i personally hate sniping (yes because i suck at it and dont have the patience... Roll Eyes ) but i recently got Dead Silence back and I too am in love, in love with my P90 silenced Bando, UAV, DS ghosty class. I look forward to sneaking up on you and repeatedly droping my nuts on the back of your head, then popping a round off in it... lol only joking but i love doing that to unsuspecting snipers now... >Smiley
