Except it isn't random. Tongue It works because it's so predictable.

hmm this could get confusing, its not predictable in that you cant predict when its going to happen, but then it is, cos you know its not random as its deliberate when it does happen.
im going with any kills like that are calculated guesses...

It is all part of the game. If you master the noobtube, you could tube a sniper hiding once you have spotted him, from across the map.

Yes, it is so bad. I laugh whenever someone fires a Grenade Launcher and doesnt get a kill with it.

The one hit kill radius is to big; little aiming and therefore skill required. Also, kill-speed is instant. The only delay is from one you pull the trigger to when the grenade lands. In the time it takes to kill someone with say, an M4 (probably about two seconds if you're a good shot), a noobtube could have travelled and killed someone halfway across the map, with little skill.

I don't use a noobtube. I use a skill-cannon.

I don't really despise it but it can be frustrating if you get hit multiple times by it. At worst it messes with my mindset/groove while I'm playing which can lead to more deaths very quickly.

Even less than the radius of a frag grenade? Frankly I see nothing wrong with it, since you could shoot them just as fast - or faster - than the grenade could. I wish it were less spammable, though.

Noob tubes are bad, the worst noob tubers are the campers at the doors such as in Downpour. They wait and then kill you, it sucks

The "n00b tube" is completely fair.  It has its drawbacks as well as its advantages, but when someone is killed by it they forget about the disadvantages and just call it "gay".  You only get 2 rounds for a start, and it takes a fair amount of time to reload it.  I use the MP5, but I don't moan when I get killed by a "n00b tuber".

It's called the Noob tube because it doesn't involve much skill to use, unless your someone who can accuratley hit a spawn point from anywhere on the map. Thats the only reason I can think of. Huh? Its why the p90's called nooby cause you can just pretzel them with it and it just keeps going because of its huge clip.

meh - it's alright.  I'd rather be able to lob grenades and bounce them off walls - but an overkill class can potentially give you 4 grenades with the tube.  That can be a tactical advantage.  No perk, weapon or attachment is noobish.  But the endless debate rages on...
