M9 underrated?

whether it be for a quick switch in the heat of a fire fight after running out of ammo, or for snipers like me who get tired of camping and strive to get the perfect "sniper flank", i believe the M9 is one of the better pistols in the game.  Here are my reasons:

first of all, most of the pistols(besides deagle) have around the same damage, and because the deagle's accuracy is so awful, i personally never use it.  When it comes to making the choice between the pistols that can actually aim properly, the M9 has the largest clip.

I'm sure most people who use pistols(besides the deagle) know that the best technique for dropping enemies is to use what i like to call the "spasm" or "twitch" rapid fire.  you know, where you just let your finger have a little mini-seizure until you see that +10.  for this technique, the M9 excels because of its clip size and low recoil.  This also helps with sprinting enemies because it allows you to lead/spray and pray.

to me, the M9 with a quick trigger finger is equal to a sub machine gun(granted a little weak, but it is a pistol).  If you keep your shots near the enemy's center mass(stomach, chest, head) it'll usually only take a third of your clip, allowing you, if you aim well, to drop three tangos if needed.

I frequently get double kills and even drop P90 and shotgun users even when they have the jump on me.  I even cleared a room of three out of grandma's house with my sniper class...thanks to the M9.

I always choose the M9, mostly because it shares the ammo to the most guns, but it also has the biggest clip. It is also the pistol i can shoot the fastest, i had one guy argue with me till the cows came home. About whether or not i had a modded controller.

Its so good because the clip is like ~15 rouds, and the sight is so easy to aim with. I love it.

I love the deagle's sights, but i would pick M9.

If i had the deagle unlocked, i would use it, it only takes 2-3 good bullets.

To me the m9 just doesn't have enough power. The M1911.45 only needs 2 shots at less than 20m or 3 shots at more than 20m. It can drop 4guys quickly at close range. It also has the least recoil of all the guns and most power over all the silenced pistols.

Sorry , but I prefer the USP.45 , 12 rounds a clip with decent damage =)

Deagle has the best crosshairs, so I spam with it all the time.

Personally I take the USP for the damage increase and slightly smaller clip, but the USP has the worst crosshairs of the pistols.

I'm no pistol wiz, so I only use M9 with MP5 or Muz.

Are pistol visions called crosshairs? I thought only snipers visions were called crosshairs, as no other scope have hairs of any kind.

He might mean the hip-fire accuracy, as denoted by the lines (which could be described as crosshairs, I guess).

The only advantage the M9 has is that it has the best clip size and it shares ammo. Still, that's not bad compared to the others. (except M1911 is still pretty lame)

They mean when you're not zoomed in, the white crosshairs in the middle of the screen. Desert Eagle's are smaller than the others. You call them 'sights' when you zoom in.

But I prefer USP. I just don't seem to be able to pull the trigger fast enough with the M9.

On PS3/PC it's better as one can press the trigger button faster than on the 360.

M9 is awesome, i hate it with silencer though, it feels weaker, and thus more gay lol

i only choose the M9 when i play MP5 or Mini-Uzi because they share ammo, so that i can take something else than Bandolier in Perk 1. something like Frag x3.
in my other classes, i use USP .45 it has nice clip size and nice damage

The m9 is awesome!!!
it has a good clip, decent damage up close and has good long range accuracy, what more could you want? oh yeah, more damage, but in my opinion it has enough for a pistol.
