Map Strategies

if anyone has any strategies they would like to share with us in order to help us all out when playing online;

ill be honest i actually dont have any but i will ask;

does anyone have any help for me on the "BOG" map as i am always pants on that map - i either get spawned into the bog and then when i do before i know it an enemy kills me so that is hard done by. when i crouch near the wall at the far end i always get snipered. when i am in the bus i get shot

i dont seem to be able to get a strategy going in this map. also on the half way moark in the building that has a few counters init - where you can plant claymores etc that is the worse place to be i have found

if anyone can offer me some help with regards to how i can improve on the BOG map i would really appreciate it.

also if someone could recommend a class, perks or a weapon best to use i would appreciate that aswell

i tried with the sni[er but didnt get a lot of kills

tried a smg got mroe deaths than kills

my m4 does ok but my k/d ratio for this map when i play is always the same kills and deaths

Great idea for a topic, I can also take ideas from here and use them in the future map sections...

As for the bog, the best advice I can give you is move quickly through the middle while watching your radar. If you toss a few grenades over the objects, then hide behind each object as you advance forward, you should be able to get some kills.

What I like to do on one of the sides at the beginning is run as fast as I can to the broken down bus and take cover there. Then shooting anyone that moves past the bus on either side.  The enemy does not kill me for a while because they are too busy shooting at the teammates out in the open behind me.

By the way the best way to not get shot inside the bus is so go prone in it, wait for some red blips on your radar, then crouch quickly aim in the direction of the blips and shoot off a few bursts, then quickly go back to prone. If you are in the bus doorway you can go prone easily without anything blocking you.

Also in my opinion I think the best guns for the bog would be SMGs since it is a medium sized map with a lot of medium range encounters. I personally use the P90 (yeah yeah I know...  but still the P90 is great on the bog.

Xplosiv - that strategy is awesome thank you

i did well on that map for the first time since i changed my whole style of playing.

i got 15 kills and 4 deaths and was top in the team - but that dont matter as the team lost 
but the point is that the strategy you gave me worked a treat - i basically used the coach to great effect and when i respawned i went back to it - absolutely made up

Pink lines = routes I take from the west (opfor's side), the map doesn't show the northern-most crate, which is the reason it arches up then down again a third of the way along...

White lines = routes I take from the west (marine's side), again the map doesn't mark the big mound in the middle, but it's great cover.

Orange dots = west side sniping positions, the northern two are for killing the northern east-side snipers, middle two get a good view of the south-eastern map and the southern one can get a nice view of mid to north east side.

Red dots = east side sniping positions, the northern most sniping spot gets a nice view of the entire north side of the map, as well as being able to sneak a look into the bus without exposing themself too much.

The next spot down is good for shooting the south-western sniping spot....and finally the three south-eastern sniping spots are good for the entire north + mid-western side of the map. The one furthest east of the three is by sitting directly on the fence and looking over the top of it.

Sorry if anything's unclear, was a 5 minute rush job.

ta mate for your analysis i will use that

its great your advice as previously i used to hang around in the sniper positions with an m4 or i just used to wait in areas and ended up gettting shot

looks to me like the best thing to do in this map is to run and shoot and move. camp for a min reload and then move whilst always using the uav - mind you i play hardcore

but by using the coach as my shield was brill

was really made up last night when i did so well - looking for to playing that map again

I recently changed how I played on this map. Instead of hanging around in the buildings, I go into the middle with an Assault Rifle (M4, G36C  etc.) and move around a lot, using the cover (that map is basically one big rubbish dump) and shoot people when I see them. Moving around a lot makes it harder for snipers to get you, and camping in one spot can easily get you killed by someone coming up behind you, from around the side by using all the cover.
Anyway, that works for me. I came second in the top scorers, we had a Gold Cross who was mental.

Some tips for the smallest map...shipment.

Of course this is a very hectic map, but I have learned a few things about it.

The best advice is once you spawn, to run as fast as you can to a corner, and go prone.

Also picking a light machine gun like the RPD or the M60 on this map is great, because you really need the ammo.

3 Frag is also a nice perk for this map, but then agian most of the time you don't have enough time to chuck 3 grenades before you get killed.

Snipe/use N0ObzTuB3 (I KNOW) in Search & Destroy at the start, you can get a few kills.

in ambush...in S&D....bolt to the tunnels and come out the other side and SUPRISE!! ...and all u have to do is :25:or :30:or even
