Okay, so take the W1200.

Range: You can't get much shorter, you'd need at least W1200's range to make it worth using over the knife.

Accuracy: At that range, you won't be missing.

Damage: One shot kill and you have a gun that's more powerful than W1200 in every way, two shot kill and it's not worth taking over the W1200.
