they should put new weapons like tavor, Hk416, more attachments for d guns

hk416 is sweet but its the SAME thing as m4 Cheesy

Yeah, but lets face it, in real life, one gun doesn't do more "damage" than another. You get shot once, maybe twice and you've got a serious problem without body armour. Damage ratings are purely for games. So one gun may have bigger bullets, but in the end it doesn't make that much difference.

Very true

^ Actually, bigger bullets means it can penetrate bullet-proof vests, armor, etc. And bigger bullets means if it hits you and goes through your skin, you will pretty much die.

For example, a bullet proof vest should protect against an M9 bullet (it will bruise you, but not kill usually). Same for a single MP5 bullet.

That's because an M9 and MP5 both use the 9mm calibre round Rab. Same round used by the British Browning 9mm pistol. Cool

The lower the calibre of the round the less damage done therefore the larger the calibre of the round the more damage done. Its a simple enough concept.

They need another pistol for the huge gap between the Colt and Deagle
and G36 with the red dot part of the gun but you lose perk 1 and get another attachment

I think that it would be cool to see some more classics.

Maybe a Springfield, or a Thompson.

Then again, watching Future Weapons On Discovery Channel, That .50cal Assault rifle would simply be amazing.

Ask and you shall receive Destro.

calibre UK, (caliber US):
noun
A Measurement. The width of the inside of a pipe, especially of the long cylindrical part of a gun (barrel), or the width of a bullet.

A .50 caliber is .5 of an inch.  So a .50 caliber round is half an inch in diameter whereas a .45 caliber is .45 of an inch in diameter.  Caliber is also stated in mm which is also the diameter of the bullet in millimeters.  A 9mm is 9 millimeters in diameter.

Also the .50 cal assault rifle I assume you are talking about is the Beowulf.  This is the round it uses http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.50_Beowulf.

I thought .50 was 50mm, not .5 of an inch..
Is it metric or imperial measurements for Ammunition?

dude 50mm=5cm
which means overpwngzorz
5cm width bullet will kill a country with one shot Cheesy

btw I thaught that calibre was a measurement of the MASS of the bullet
I was mistaken

EDIT: btw why the hell beawulf uses a non sharp bullet
wouldnt a sharp one penatrate much better?

its like using a knife's opposite edge for cutting Huh?

Lol true I suppose, but just under 1.5cm is still pretty epic for a .50...

From left to right: .50 BMG, 300 Win Mag, .308 Winchester, 7.62x39mm, 5.56x45mm NATO, .22LR

Edited to add.

I thaught that calibre was a measurement of the MASS

The mass and speed of the projectile (round) only comes into play when range to target is taken into consideration mate.

.50 has recorded the longest ranged, and confirmed kill, in military history. Cool

mass*velocity*velocity+inactionmoment*angularvelocity*angularvelocity
                                                              2

that formula gives how much damage a bullet will do (impact velocity values should be used)

so I beleive mass is something allways should be considered Tongue
