they should put new weapons like tavor, Hk416, more attachments for d guns

hk416 is sweet but its the SAME thing as m4 Cheesy

Yeah, but lets face it, in real life, one gun doesn't do more "damage" than another. You get shot once, maybe twice and you've got a serious problem without body armour. Damage ratings are purely for games. So one gun may have bigger bullets, but in the end it doesn't make that much difference.

nope they actually make few little differences
For example m16 does more damage (for some reason)

Or the barrel length effects the accuracy and damage or so

BUT the difference isnt as big in games ofc

Beg to differ mate, but there is a huge difference in damage between weapons in the real world, though it relates directly to the calibre of the round.

A 7.62 round (SLR) and a 5.56 round (SA80) will make a similarly sized entry wound, although the 7.62 will leave a much larger exit wound, which in turn causes much more damage. In fact the exit wound is more likely to kill you than the entry wound if your shot in the torso, which is where all standard targets have as the main aiming point.

Now up the scale again to something like a .50 calibre round and think of the damage it would do to the human body, compared to a 9mm round or a 5.56.

Ahh but a torso shot with a 9mm or 5.56 round will do less damage and less likely to kill on impact or exit, therefore some guns (or rounds if you prefer) will do more damage than others.

In fact the 5.56 round was taken on by the British Army for exactly that reason. The thinking being if you shot someone on the battlefield with a 7.62 they are likely dead, whereas if you shot with a 5.56 they are injured, meaning it takes more personnel to look after the injured soldier. Thus eating up the resources of your enemy and unsettling their troops.

Not all guns do the same damage in the real world, which is my point.

5.56 round is not a one shot one kill in the real world mate. It is designed, due to is lower calibre, to remain embedded in the target inflicting injury rather than death.

Compared to the 7.62 which is designed to enter and then remove half the back off your target upon exit, resulting in death. That's a one hit one kill round, the 5.56 is not IMO.

Although at least you see my point on the 9mm, ergo all guns do not do the same damage.

Bare in mind though I am talking real world, not in game stats here.

yeah. Basicly, one might do more damage really, but they both kill you dead in a second.

Slaine is right,  if you've ever read the book Black Hawk Down the rangers would should single men multiple times with the 5.56 and find that they would just keep getting back up.  I am not so sure about the idea that 5.56 were meant to wound people instead of killing them.  I have heard the idea but that's not what americans use it for.  We use it because were too stupid to switch to anything better.

And Briddler, people can survive from shots even from a .50 round.  It mostly depends on where they are hit, but people have actually survived being shot in the head.  Didn't "fitty" cent supposedly get shot nine times, and he's not dead.

Yeah that's true to.  I do know that there are armor piercing 5.56 rounds but I have no idea at what range they are still useful or who even uses them.

That is one thing I always wondered about the game, why is no one wearing body armor?
