Are you guys good at reading radar? Alot of people now and days rely on there radar 100 percent, this becomes a factor when jammers are introduced. Me i personally always am peeking up at my radar, i have an awesome sence of where people are going to be after the beam of radar goes by just from expirience, that way you can predict there moves and rack up some major kills. Do you guys use your radar effectively?

I glance at the radar. But I'd rather take a break from the action and consult the whole map for a second. I find the map way more helpful in helping me plan my approach to the game, than the radar.

I always try to keep checking the radar as it does help a lot to see where the enemy may be heading. it makes me feel really vunerable when I play hardcore though as it ain't there!.

Peripheral.

I use the radar quite a lot. I've had some awesome grenade kills because of it.

It totally depends on context.  I've I am engaging an enemy, I don't have the attention span to do that and watch UAV.  I've I've respawned, or I'm not directly in action, I'll "pull over" and watch the radar for a minute.  It's a huge benefit.  And yes, you need to predict where people are going to go.  It's worth watch two passes at least, because then you can see how the enemy is advancing, retreating, or flanking.

Occasionally you some some UAV jammers in there (1 or 2).  In that case, I look to see where neither the enemy nor my team is, and assume they are somewhere in that vicinity.  If I'm wrong, then I have a chance to outflank the enemy myself, and if I'm right, UAV jammers are often the most careless, because they confuse that perk with harry potter's invisibility cloak.

Also, I'f I'm close to getting an airstrike or a chopper, I will absolutely consult radar, even at the expense of letting someone get away.  Making sure you get those extra 1-4 kills to get an airstrike or a chopper is too important to go off half-cocked.

I use it an aweful lot. But I also check all my corners and behind me every now and again, often after I move through an open area to a doorway I hold my crosshair on the doorway behind me for a few seconds, incase anyone saw me and decided to follow me through.

But yeah, UAV's are great. If use it strategically finding to find which direction the bulk of the enemies is heading for or is at, then approaching the site from a tactical vantage point and taking them down. Some maps are sorta annoying though, where there's no 'safe' approach to an area of enemies (creek and broadcast)

When sniping I usually load up the full map to exact positions on snipers, not sure if many people do that, but it works well since you can even do it just when they fire a round rather than having to call in a UAV.

I've gotten a lot of UAV based deep impact sniper kills on bog though, shooting through the steel meshing that's infront of the doorway leading to the steel mesh inclosed area whilst i'm sniping from the hill. Works well quite often the enemy decides to go hide through there if I keep sniping them or if airstrikes;/helis are out.

I watch the Radar when its up, but I don't rely on it. I'm one of those people who you will always see (or not see, depending on how you look at it) with the UAV Jammer on, so I more than many players, can appreciate how inaccurate the radar can be.

When I'm moving around, I check all the corners, especially if the UAV doesn't show someone there. People take advantage of not showing up, and so camp in corners more often because people are much more willing to run by because of a lack of Red Dots.

So yes, I consult the Radar, but I also use my instinct with it.
