I use stun, since it can effect the enemy from any angle, unlike the flash.

Flash for multiple people in one room, Stun for secret strikes from behind on a small group of people.
(throw Stun, go up to a guy from behind, easy headshot.)

I like stun because I know when it has an impact on the person. I don't think you get the X by hitting someone with a flash.

I like flash cause it completely blinds and deafens.
Stun makes them slow. You can still see and shoot when your stunned.

But I like the recognition of the stun. If you stun a room and you get the X then you know someone is in there and you can either follow it up with a frag or rush and spray them.

I prefer stuns because they damage the enemy and you know if your stun hit somebody. They are also useful for killing people in Last Stand. If you stun somebody, try to get on the behind or on the side of them before killing them so that they don't have the opportunity to shoot you. Throw in a cooked grenade if you wish.
