What would you say is the best game mode for mobile sniping (apart from TDM). I think Domination.

S&D is my favorite with a mobile sniper.

I have voiced my opinion on this in many other threads, but briefly, here are my reasons:

1) With 50XP a kill and 100XP a plant/defuse, you can rack up tons of XP while playing S&D. Basically, S&D makes you rank up faster. And since you already have ACOG, you don't need other attachments

2) Since you only have one life, you have to take it seriously. Fooling around, crazy rushing, and lack of skill result in death and then spectating for the rest of the round. Death has more of a punishment, than let's say, TDM. That means you and your sniper have less to worry about, and can focus on camping, or whatever your strategy is.

3) Again, once you kill someone, their out of the round. You don't need to worry about them messing with you. In TDM, you ACOG someone down, but they know where you are when they respawn and you are no match with your sniper.

4) There is nothing more exhilarating (in CoD4 of course) than being the hero of the S&D round. For example, it's you and your M40 against five other players. If you win, it is a pretty good feeling. (More so than with, let's say, an MP5).

5) My kill and death stats don't change much, which means I can have a tons of bad games with not as much penalty on my stats.

6) Score goes way up.

Sabotage, but make sure everyone agrees to just leave the bomb, so you get a good 20 minute battle.

GW domination or sabotage, they are usually more passive. (they won't attack you at first sight) ESpecially in sabotage.

Probably Domination. Sabotage is okay, but it can be a slow moving game especially on large maps.
