lately I have been having difficulties killing enemies. I see them before they see me. I shoot them first. They get hit like 3 times but somehow they survive to kill me. example: I see someone maybe 20 feet away, and I shoot him 4 times with the m1014. he dosen't quite die, and he kills me when I run out of ammo. or I see a sniper at med-long range, so I shoot him with 3 AK bullets, and before I can get the 4th shot off, he snipes me in the head. and I think "um, I'm sure you would be dead. you can't take 3 bullets and still shoot". and I can't stand when in close range battles, I shoot them, hit them with 3 bullets, then they just lunge like 3 feet and knife me. everyone says "play hardcore". the only problem: I'm not to good at hardcore. I can never find anyone. so could someone give me tips on how to kill people faster, or tips on how to improve in hardcore? it would be nice.

ya 3 bullets cant kill anyone rerally except with a shotty at close range or snipers(not counting headshiots). i suck at hardcore so ya. i guess my advice would be aim closer to their head

i know what you mean, exactly, its pretty annoying, i think it sometimes has something to do with connections, and reaction times, aswell as accuracy.

cuz sometimes i feel like im pwning everybody somehow, so when its me who turns that dreadfull corner, then its me who actually survives, quite cool, i think.

Usually stuff like that is just lag.. Like you shoot someone with 15 rounds in the back, and they turn around and kill you with 1 P90 bullet.. It does really irritate me though when someone knifes you from like.. across a room, like, are you even real...

Use sleight of hand with the shotgun and stay in your range. 20 feet is too far.

Stopping Power helps kill faster with the AK. It just take 3 shots to do it.

Could be just lag or getting unlucky. I've had rounds where I've shot the same guy with my shotgun up real close numerous times but he was always awarded the kill first when I didn't think he even had time to shoot me.

Sounds like you need to work on strafing.  Less of their bullets will hit you, allowing you to live long enough to get a fatal number of bullets in them.
