Well, while it would be simply awesome to have insider information, there's a couple of things that make me incredibly skeptical...

1: You say the Steyr Aug would have more damage, higher accuracy and higher mobility than the M4...why would they put that in the game? Then you'd have no reason to choose the M4. Where's the drawback?

2: M16 with full-auto? I think not...and why wouldn't it be added for the MP5/G36c/P90?

I mean, they seem like some pretty stupid/wacky design decisions...

1st the steyr will have in game drawbacks, just like every other gun they put in, shotguns for example, I was simply listing the real world stats.

2nd the auto,semi, and burst switch is found on almost all real world ar's and smgs.

I knew when i joined there would be skeptics to everything everyone said, and like i've already stated these are things being TESTED i posted that these are things being alotted to me for reviews. I'm into games and such and i work full time. However one of my main hobbies is partaking in long distance shooting competitions. I've shot every gun in Cod 4 at the range, i own a majority of these. To further my credits I'm a registered civi sniper in 3 states.

If you dont take all these posts with criticism in mind then you might as well tell yourself pong has the greatest story mode of any game ever. :thumbsup:

I still don't see why they'd even attempt altering the M16, I mean the only thing that really separates the M16 from some other rifles is that it's burst while others are full auto.

I think that they should have added more golden weapons, or changed some of the existing ones.
I would like a gold M-16, .50 cal, and a gold MP5... just some suggestions...

Oh yeah after you get 10 kills, you should be able to call in a mortar/artillery strike.

I think that helicopters should be moved to 10-kill streak. As it is, anyone can get a heli with any luck at all. Also, improve the helicopters. As it is now, they are too random. Remove all the dumb complicated rules- the "weakening", "evasive maneuvers mode", and the chasing after certain ppl. It should be this way in my opinion-

Helicopters can be shot down with one RPG if it is combined with sonic boom.
They only kill the top 3 on the enemy team.
They occasionally fire rockets at players (or more so, if they do)

I thought about this, and I've come up with some ideas:

1. The AK-47 seems like it was only put in because it was recognizable.  Why not use the AK-107/108?

2. The ability to turn off the freaking music in-game.  And that disembodied voice, too.

3. A Hardcore mode without perks or kill-streak rewards.  Honestly, I'm surprised one doesn't already exist.

4. The DEagle really doesn't belong here at all.  It could be replaced by the SOCOM, it's just as recognizable.

5. Shotguns that fire slugs, and with a range of more than five feet.  Balance it out however, but they have a ridiculously narrow application compared to anything else.

6. Cooperative campaign.  And a campaign without infinitely respawning enemies, but instead one in which you can use tactics.

7. Maybe a cover system?  I don't know how that would work, but it is something to consider.

COOP campaign- id pay big bucks for that.

What music? I never have heard any music before.
All the other ideas are great though, and the cover idea should work by standing next to a wall you want to take cover by, pressing a certain button, and then getting locked onto the wall (still first person). Then you can look around and poke your head up/to the side with the normal moving joystick.

most of the maps are pretty cool, but it'd rock if they had some denser maps (like a jungle), it'd be really wierd to play though.

A few points.

Village- Its a very good map. I have played it and it is a slightly redone map from the single player game.  Its the map you repel into with the Speznaz team.

Things that need to be added

1- Shotguns with slugs is a great idea. Choosen at loadout. So you cant have both

2- Find a way to adjust bunnyhoppers. It has the be the most absurd thing in the game. To repeatedly watch some jackass hop sideways (using the noob tube no less) into a spawn point is just stupid.

3- Fix the spawn points. The worst times I ever have playing are when the computer insists on respawning people right next to where they died. Especially when there are just a few people playing in a map.  I shouldnt die twice in the same Airstrike, or be directly in a stream of bullets. And if someone gets the drop on me I shouldnt spawn 5 feet away behind him and simply be able to kill him.

 I have another idea but I am gonna start a new thread with it
