[PC] Server Disconnected at map change...

Occasionally, around 50% of the time when a server I'm on switches maps, it'll take a long time to load and then it'll kick me with the error "server disconnected". I can then immediately reconnect to the server, but after connecting it will be very laggy for about 5-10 minutes...

I'm 95% sure it's not a punkbuster problem, updating doesn't help. Wondering if anyone might, by some miracle, know what's causing this? I've scoured the internet and come up with nothing, plenty of people apparently have this problem, but I'm damned if anyone's posted a fix...

as far as I know servers disconnect players that give signal of "fill my spot, Im joining, brt after load" and if the player doesnt show up after a while(this happened me few times too, even a minute of load is enough to get kicked) you get "server disconnected" error. This is mainly because loading takes long, as you understood it. My question is that which part takes LONG (abnormally long, for example I load a map on like 10-15 seconds)

THe part that say waiting server to connect(where the white bar doesnt starts to take over the black remaining, I say cause Im not sure what it writes above the bar)

if its the part that is saying waiting server to connect(probably is) Im not sure how to fix, its because your connection,

If its the second part of load, its because your computer is slow. YOu can defrag your pc, clean up registry(I suggest regseeker freeware, using it since a year or more maybe never had any problem.) Its your call if your pc req a fresh reformat. But if your pc wasnt formatter more then a year, as a gaming pc your pc should have really slowed down
