haveing real problems installing patch 1.7  every time i  try  my system  fails  and even loose  internet  have to unstall cod 4  and  then  restore  computer to earlier time before install to get internet access  any knowledge  of this problem ?

Where are you getting the patch from? For it to take down your internet, and force you to do a system restore is insane. I've never heard of this before.

well download site was file planet ?
maybe it is some issue with my system ,  but tried again  installed cod4 everything fine, downloaded patch1.5 all fine then patch 1.6  all fine ,  aging patch 1.7  and  lost  system  and internet connection . had to uninstall all then  restore  computer  and all is fine  Huh???
