Change ingame speech from German to English

Hello everyone,

Today my copy of CoD4 finally arrived and I installed it right away and started playing.
I was disappointed right away by the terrible German speech ingame. Each dialogue or squad communication simply sucks and destroys the awesome atmosphere the game could create...

I have been desparately searching for 2 hours now for some sort of patch that could maybe switch the German dialogues to the original Englisch synchronization so I can finally enjoy my game but so far without success.

I even read in forums about people that are trying the exact opposite. They bought the U.S / English version of the game and want it to be German because they are either alliterate dumbfucks or don't know shit about how awesome the original English sound ambient is like...

To cut a long story short. I searched for an English site like this here as some sort of final act of maybe getting my issue solved.

If anyone has an idea how I could solve my problem without buying the U.S version or might even upload me the sound files to help me out.

I kindly ask for help on this and I would highly appreciate any sort of help. I guess it won't be a big deal uploading the soundfiles or whatever needs to be done.

Uhm, if you know how to go about it without picking up a tonne of spyware, I'd suggest...eh..."pirating" it. Technically it's legal because you already own the game. Go find the game on isohunt or something.

Who did you buy it from? If you got it from a retailer phone/mail then and ask for an English version instead.

Well the thing is that in Germany you won't find any goodwill of that kind.
They also don't sell the U.S or the English version over here, so I would either way have to import it (with additional taxes etc. making it quite expensive)

I bought it from a local story because they had some special discount on it.
I will try the "isohunty" thingy you suggested but I am neither experience with that torrent stuff nor very fond of it because you mostly catch but a ton of shit when trying to download something instead of what you actually intended...

I'd still appreciate an upload of these files. It is not that I'd scam anyone of make money off of it nor should it be costly for someone to upload... = /

I would just recommend finding an English copy somewhere... seems easiest to me.

Did you ever think that maybe it's not possible? Even if it is, it's probably nowhere near as simple as "uploading the soundfiles" or "some sort of patch that could maybe switch the German dialogues", else you'd have found them on google.

Not to mention I've already given you a viable solution.

En contraire (Nice use of french)! It was as simple as uploading the soundfiles.
I got help from some reliable individuals (This is useless content)...
If you are that fond of that torrents crap (Uncalled for hostility may offend some of your audience) then download a couple and check what other gifts made it on your system (Be careful not to display ignorance as the author).
Oh boy...I could tell you about mofos but I won't waste more letters on this forum (Yet you continued...?).
You can of course "blablablablabla" (Gibberish is not attractive in literature) me even more now but it remains as helpful as the past bullcrap (Ungratefulness is not becoming of you) so post some dumb and useless links in other posts (Again, an author displaying such pitiable ignorance tends to lead to embarassment).
They might be so dumb to appreciate it (More hostility towards your audience, not good!).
