Holding down Shift+Alt crashes the game

When I press down Shift and the Alt button my game always crashes. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? It's getting pretty annoying when I crash my game accidentally and I really dont want to rebind my buttons either.

you dont need to rebind your game
just say no` to the box that comes out after you open your game after a crash
that yes only works if you had graphical issues or so. Just say no.

I tried, its not crashing on me. So its a software problem of you there. Do you use macros?. If you use macros close the macro program and try it again. And what kind of crash you mean. Error message or just game gets closed. I mean does it do the same thing as the alt+f4

The game just completely freezes and I have to shut it down from the task manager. It even happens when im on the menu.. I tried using default cfg's and it didnt help. I also dont use any macros.

have you made any change in config or config_mp files?

if so use your backup(what ever you did changed if you chagned you allways need to backup game files)

I renamed my config file so the game created a new standard file and it didnt help either.

^^ That guy seems to have had the same problem and he managed to solve it but I dont really understand how he did it.. Something to do with win xp shortcuts, any ideas anyone?

hmm interesting.
Try this.
When you play game change keyboard launguage to EN(ABD) or EN(GB) try that way other then that I understand what you should do like this:(on the thread ou found)
ou are xp right?
go to my start:
there go to control pannel.
Switch it to classic view
Then click at accessibility options
Click every "settings" there
make all of the  boxes unchecked

but try using EN or your main language(if different) swapped from the keyboard language to change:
right click to start bar
the one that is on top click it it will make few things come up to side of it
click language bar
There you can change keyboard language.
Try this first then you can use what I said above

Okies, finally managed to fix it. Thanks for your help.

In case someone google's this thread here's what I did..
Go to language bar settings, Key settings > Change key sequence and disable Switch input language
