Well, it's really not that simple. Sure, you can make a clan tag by yourself, but you need to recruit people. What's the fun of a clan if you're the only member?

I don't get it. So you can place a tag in front of your handle. Who cares? It has no practical value in game play. Or am I missing something?

clan tags are unlocked at level 12. go to the barracks and create a tag using only four spaces (some symbols ar restricted)

well, they are not completely pointless, but they really have no affect on gameplay. its like being in a little club.
