Ok, i was playing CoD4 on the PS3 with some of the C4C guys. Sounds good so far, right? Well, then we played Crash on Team Deathmatch and then something happened. The game froze and i couldn't do anything. The only way i could unfreeze the game was by turning the system off. Now i know that it wan't an error or anything like that, because an error code didn't pop up. I would like to know what was the cause of this. Can anyone help?

P.S: I won't accept responses like "Go buy a 360" or "maybe your internet sucks", because i'm broke until next month, and i have a very good internet connection.

╬A lot of PS3s have a tendency of freezing while in a game. And sorry, I do not know how to fix this.

Although it's not too much of a problem and doesn't break your PS3, but it's still an annoyance. The only solution that I know of is to do what you did, turn it off and on, and it should come back to normal.╬

Yeah, it is VERY annoying! I was playing my very 1st CoD4 match with MrCyn, and then my game freezes!  Angry Talk about first impressions...

I've had this problem with CoD4 in the past. I don't think it's the PS3 that causes it, since mine is fine with every other game, I have only experienced CoD freezing.

But strangely, I don't get freezing - touch wood - in the middle of games any more, mine usually bogs down in the menu, CoD is so full of bugs.  Undecided
