Need help on improving sniper skills

I am a pretty good sniper but I was just wondering whats the best thing to do for good training. Sumtin that will make me always get hits rather than hit miss hit

you can go to private match by yourself with your sniper, go to your favorite sniping spot(or any other spot), and practice hitting targets that other campers usually are or other targets. you can also look for good spots to put claymores.

I kno my spots and i have just realised where to put claymores (I didn't know about the click) but i shall do more but i ment like target practice. And i don't wanna go online because i am still learning

The most accurate sniper is the M40. You can bring it up and get hit while barely steadying it. As far as tips. There are two techniques I use to hit enemies. This is online, but I think it'll work in single player as well...not sure which you play.

Leading the target: So your target is running to the right. Forget the target for know, and place the scope far to the right in the direction he's coming. Now wait and when he enters your crosshairs (Or just before) BOOM. This all happens in a few seconds, but that's the breakdown of it.

This next method only seems to work on the M40. Just snap your rifle in the direction of the target and fire. I have a lot of success with this on the M40, not on the other guns though.

Allways stick with m40, its the best rifle. I use barret instead cause I like its sound(Im retarted )

Why m40 is best:
all rifles same damage
all rifles same range
same accuracy and stuff
but m40 has lowest recoil
and different then other rifles it has 1.1 multiplier at stomach to make it 1 shot kill with stopping power.
Just use m40 with stopping power and aim for torso.

.50 cal and R700 also kill to the stomach.

R700 and barret 50 cal have better multipliers than the non acoged M40....
i would first use M40 regular
then slowly switch to M40 ACOG (ohko even in limbs)
then R700 ACOG (More power against juggy users) and it gives you better practice with the ACOG's sway (as the R700 has the most barrel sway in the game.)

AGOCed snipers are awesome, but I wouldn't recommend them for general use. Only for the small levels. Although I do agree, R700 is the best ACOGed. I would recommend using regular M40 to start, then once you feel you need a little more power and are confident in your accuracy, then you can step it up to the R700.

Wow, yeah...what Destro said. How are you learning without going online? Beyond learning the maps, nothing will help you improve like playing against real people. Similarly, nothing you do will prepare you for fighting real people either. Best thing to do is just jump straight in, suffer the consequences of being a newbie and improve over time like everybody else.
