lucky console users, I prefer the pc version the only downside is the lack of prestige =C

Look, it's like this. My first time to 55, I waited around for like a month before I hit prestige when I got sick of just playing. Then I got to 55 and got 3 of the 5 gold guns legitimatley (SMG, LMG, and Shotty). I decided to hit it after I got board, AGAIN. I also have a friend that started playing around the same time I did, and he's at sixth prestige. Now I wish I would have hit it from the get go. I have decided, whether or not, I want to, to hit prestige as soon as possible to prevent this from happening again. Trust me. Hit prestige. Most people promise not to hit prestige and then one day get so fricken board that they do so. Therefore wasting the month that you spent sitting on level 55 making attempts to get that Gold AK with Prestige in the back of your mind. Trust me, HIT PRESTIGE!!
