any help to resolve would be awesome, can get online and use internet browser and play online in other games but call of duty 4 i log on and it says there is one person in party and downloading settings, then i try to open one of the games and it says downloading game settings  and then it stalls, i can back up but can not go further to choose like "free for all"  or "ground war". If i try to start a match then it locks the whole machine up the controler does nothing.  i have to reboot.  Please help

this happened to me i could evantuly play some matches but it took about a hour to load so i bought the game again and no problems since and i sold the other game on ebay that does not work but i was wise enough to use my mates account to sell it lol
