"This is BS"

I just got an email from a visitor that commented on the helicopter tip I gave in the tips and hints section, he says "This is all BS because you don't get radar/air support from chopper kills."

Also he didn't leave me a reply email so I could reply to him. Big man.

Anyway, I would like to say to him that it is not BS. Just because you don't get anything from shooting the chopper, such as kills or points, you still DO help the team a lot. And yourself as well. Like I said, if you don't shoot the helicopter down, the person who called it in the first place can just keep racking up more and more helicopters throughout the entire match.

So I stand by what I say, shoot the helicopter when you see it, I am tired of wasting my ammo because other people refuse to put a FEW bullets into it.

The guy is clearly a complete idiot, everyone knows you're supposed to shoot down the choppers to prevent the opposing team to get a bunch of free kills.

This is the point that I think anonymous guy was referring to. He didn't mean that you don't get kills by destroying choppers; he meant that kills scored by your chopper don't give you additional support abilities. He's right, but only if the person who called the chopper stays alive during its entire run. I'm pretty sure that you can get radar, airstrike, and chopper again if you call a chopper, die, and then stay alive while the chopper racks up 7 kills for you, or if you get the chopper ability without using it, die, and then use it for a 7 kill streak when you respawn.

That said, boo on him for not giving a reasonable argument and not leaving a reply e-mail, but I'm curious as to how your e-mail client didn't pick up his e-mail address so you could send a reply.

He is right after you get a chopper without dying you no longer get radars only on kills you get yourself. But if you do die then the chopper can rack the kills up for you again all the way until you get another chopper. Then it stops but he shows no valid argument or cause.

Why complain and e-mail Xplosiv, it's in the game and unchangable.

Well the guy obviously doesn't know what he's going on about, as lots of others have said, if you have a chopper ready and die, you can call it when you're alive again and it'll count towards UAV/Airstrike/Chopper rewards as long as you remain alive.

If you die while it's up, the kills after you come back to life won't count however.

So yeah, the guy was not only wrong, but gave a lack of explanation as to what he was wrong about.

I shoot it down with a LMG, It usually takes about 1 clip and it would go down.
