I think we should give Treyarch a chance to match the bar that IW has set...if they fail to reach it, then by all means I'd be happy with IW doing every CoD.

First off cynical thanks so much for posting this.

secondly vancha is it worth the risk? I doubt they would be stopped halfway through production. CoD4 was by far the best of the series, IW showed what it can do. I say let 'em do it again.

I kind of am too now since it will be using the Call of Duty 4 engine. I personally love the WW2 setting, because of games like the old Call of Duty, DOD, Battlefield 1942...all my favorites.

Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Stopped halfway through production...where did I say that? We won't know if CoD5 will be a worthy sequal until release.

Anyway...the whole reason there's two companies making CoD games is because it's too much to ask to get a CoD game every year from the same people, I was talking more along the lines of removing Treyarch to avoid tarnishing the good CoD name IW made.

Yeah, IW wants 2 years to make COD games, but Activision wants one out each year, so Treyarch fills the gap
