the ak74u is an smg, so its a suggested close range weapon with a high rate of fire.
this is my favorite class including Perks and attachments for the ak74u.

ak74u
red dot sight
bandoiler
double tap
sleight of hand

Umm...either you're lying about your setup or you've made an honest mistake. You have two 2nd Perks.

On-Topic: I love the AK74u. It's an amazing SMG and my favourite weapon as well.

I love the AK-74u 2.

But it's best naked, due to loss of hip-fire accuracy when it has attachments.

OMG that's so annoying when people don't even know their perks and start a topic. You cannot have sleight of hand and double tap at the same time.

I like it better with a red dot sight because no matter what anyone says, a red dot sight is always better on any gun no matter how good the iron sights are.

I actually prefer this to the MP5. I love it with silencer and think it looks awesome wit hthe silencer fitted.

It's okay as an SMG if you don't intend to hip fire, or if you're using it "naked". Hip fire accuracy is pretty much the only thing SMGs have going for them, and the RDS and silencer both degrade it when applied to the AK-74u. Compared to the MP5, it usually tends to have better aiming accuracy but worse hip accuracy.

Pros over MP5:

Deepers penetration.
Better iron sights.
Controllable/Predictable recoil (up and down).

Cons over MP5:

The only CON is the reduced hip accuracy (silenced).

The AK74u is best silenced IMO. When naked or RDS, its flash muzzle seems to go wild. Also, IMO, it seems theres more recoil. SILENCED is best except for the HIP FIRE bug.

I used it for a while but the recoil is the major drawback. Although it does have good damage for an SMG.
