It means mounting an ACOG on your sniper for the uninformed .

My fav map for it is Vacant, not a map you would see snipers on often. District, Overgrown and Broadcast are good too.


The most common and probably best class:

M40 ACOG
Pistol
Special

Bandolier/3x Frags
Stopping Power
Steady Aim


However I would often use a rather unusual class I've never seen any else use

Dragunouv ACOG
USP
Stun

Bandolier
UAV Jammer
Extreme Conditioning


And another of my favs:

M21 ACOG
USP
Stun

3x Frags
Stopping Power
Steady Aim.

I have actually done quite well on Bog and Countdown w/ my ACOG'd M40.  I've never brought it out for Vacant.  I might have to try that.  I also love the M21 ACOG'd for my hardcore mobile class.  Next to no recoil, one hit kills and it's Semi auto too?  You couldn't ask for more. 

Forgot to put my classes in: 

Regular TDM

M40A3 w/ ACOG
M9

Bandolier  (Clays if the map allows.  Like Overgrown)
Stopping Power
Steady Aim (for when I ATTEMPT to no scope)

Hardcore TDM

M21 w/ ACOG
M9

Bandolier
UAV Jammer
Steady Aim (for spamming the hell out of someone)  I might try Dead Silence on this one.  I like it on other classes.

District is good for an ACOG sniper. You can control the entire main street along B in domination.

Every map is god for mobile sniping, except shipment and killhouse...pick your sniper which you prefer and i use these perks...bando, stopping power, dead silence.

I used to use M40 for Mobile Sniping but I've digressed to using the R700. The recoil isn't noticeable since you should only be taking one shot. Use it with or without Stopping Power (I usually do) and you'll see.

R700 w/ACOG
Stun
Bandolier/Special Grenade x3
Stopping Power
Steady Aim


Bets map, IMO, would be Strike, Vacant or Wetwork. I get 20+ kills with little or no deaths with that setup. More deaths on Vacant though Sad

Well I love the M21 for mobile sniping. I always hated the Barrett and didn't like the bolt-actions. This is the class I use for mobile sniping when I'm not in prestige.
