Don't you think it's cool how everything in this game in one way or another ends up linking? The SAS and USMC are seperate at the beginning, but then it becomes a joint operation. I also think it's really cool how on the first level, there's a major storm, you're in the bering strait, and the ship sinks. Then at the very end of the game, after the last level, the newscaster says "In other news, a ship lost due to a major storm in the bering strait has been called off..." Brings back memories of the first level ^^

My only question is how does griggs just all the sudden go form the Middle East to Russia, it just doesn't make sence to me.

The last missions were joint operations and he was in the group by coincidence, and there was time in between the nuke in the middle east to fly from it to Russia, from global standards thats not a very far distance to fly.

It's actually not that far from that location in Russia to the Middle East... it's plausible.

That is what happened. People don't just magically appear somewhere. It would only take a few hours to get to Russia.

I understand all that, the only thing I find odd about it is that he's in YOUR squad in the USMC and then once again he's in YOUR squad for the SAS too. I think it would be neat to meet him along the way somewhere, but having him in your squad both times...didn't make sense.

But IW wouldn't have made that big of a mistake... they must have known what they were doing.

Story is becoming a strong part of the COD games. COD4's story was by no means perfect, but it was a step in the right direction.

I am no longer a soldier of COD4. While I will continue to post on these forums and communicate with the kind people of C4C, I will no longer participate in online play through the game itself.
