Hunted Heli Hell

On Vetran Difficulty I'm Having Trouble Getting To The Barn With The Stingers To Take Down The Heli...

Any Suggestions?

Kill all the people outside the barn first. Then throw some grenades into the barn, after that make sure that the heli is in a spot where it can't hit you and run into the barn behind the bulldozer thing and kill/take cover there.

I was having the same issue because I would run up to the barn door and try to clear the room before entering and always got clipped by the heli. Finally got past it when I sucked it up and entered the barn and hid by the barrels on the right. Take out the guy by the dozer, then engage the guys behind the crates/barrels on the second floor.

yeah, it is hard. i tried sneaking beneath the car, but i was flanked. try working your way through the damaged greenhouse thingy. if you get to the singers, stay in the bulding and shoot the chopper through the windows.

I know. its hard as hell. My suggestions is go in the room with the couch and the window, and be patient. Only shoot through the window when the chopper can't shoot, minigun will take you down FAST. After people stop shooting from the barn, go out the door you came in and hide behind the concrete brick stack. I don't remember the level really well, but I think there is like another square object somewhere farther up... Basically when the heli moves behind the barn and can't see you, sprint and advance little by little. When you get right beside the barn wait for your teammates to come up, then find a place for cover. the heli WILL come back around and kill you if youre standing in front of the barn. Your teammates will finish off anyone inside the barn. This frustated me insanely but i hope this helps, good luck. still not easy , but easy-ER.

Are you just going to post that on every thread in this forum, midnight? No it's not impossible, just takes dying again and again and again until you learn how to do it and get it right. I beat it and I'm not that great. Just takes dedication or boredom, both of which I had before I got Xbox Live.

Another alternative for anyone having issues with the Heli still...

Go through as above. Make sure to clear out the guys in front of the building. Wait for the heli to go behind the barn giving you a few seconds to make it across to the barn. Easiest way to 'encourage' the heli to go back there is to not let it see you. Keep the roof where your guys are between you and it and make sure you always keep it between you and the heli. Once it goes behind the barn, sprint for the door and throw a flashbang to the base of the steps, head left to get behind the dozer, and take out the guy near the stairs and the two guys on the second floor behind the crates/barrels.

I didn't even realize this until I came back from the bathroom and my roommate had picked up the controller, but it is possible to shoot the gunner in the heli. This should give you enough time to book it to the barn.
