You'll be surprised how well things go with some sex appeal, it's quite possible they already got the message and won't do anything.

As far as I'm aware, they haven't implemented this yet..your slow net is probably down to other reasons. Glad to see some support here though.

Carriers here in the US have been lobbying to do the same thing, so far unsuccessfully.  Comcast (a cable company) has also been trying to set up tiered pricing for end users and place limits on the amount of bandwidth anyone can consume... laughable at a time when the industry is moving away from rental DVD's to downloadable movies.  It's all greed, greed, greed!
